We built the quiz site we'd want to use 🛡️
BestieTest exists for one reason: fun quizzes between friends. Not data harvesting, not ad-tech plumbing, not "growth hacks". Here's exactly how we treat you and your data — in plain English.
What we collect (almost nothing)
- Your quiz: the questions and answers you write. That's the product.
- First names: yours (as quiz creator) and your friends' (as players, for the leaderboard).
- Counts: how many people played, shared, and finished. We use this to make the product better.
- Abuse-prevention signals: a scrambled fingerprint of your IP address (never the raw address) to stop spam and bots.
What we never do
- ❌ No social logins. We will never ask for your Facebook, Google, or contacts. (The quiz industry burned trust doing exactly this — we won't.)
- ❌ No selling data. Your quizzes and names are not for sale, ever.
- ❌ No tracking across sites. We don't follow you around the internet.
- ❌ No accounts required. You can create and play without telling us who you are.
How moderation works
Anyone can report a quiz — no login needed. Automated filters block the obvious stuff at creation; humans review reports. Quizzes that break the rules are removed. Quizzes about children, or containing sexual, hateful, or violent content, are removed immediately with zero tolerance.
Your control
Your quiz is yours: edit it, change its settings, or delete it permanently from My quizzes. Inactive quizzes are automatically deleted after 100 days. If you lose your manage link, we can't verify you're the creator — that's the price of not having accounts, and we think it's worth it.
